Susan’s expertise spans the media, corporate, and public relations arenas including: reporter, producer, anchor, and bureau chief at major market TV stations, e.g., CBS in Orlando, New Jersey Network, WPIX in New York; senior executive at Golin/Harris and Fleishman-Hillard, two respected global public relations firms; and, international spokesperson, media manager, and video producer at pharmaceutical giant, Syntex, now Roche. Susan also was communications director for the CBS flagship TV station in Los Angeles where she served as media spokesperson and head of public relations. As founder of

Big Bite, she has produced website and corporate videos for a variety of clients, conducted hundreds of media/presentation trainings and customized crisis communications programs.

  • Montage Laguna Beach - media trained 15+ senior executives to prepare for resort opening

  • Hotel Shangri'La Santa Monica - crafted messaging for executive team and employees and media trained senior executives

  • Legoland - media trained 40 senior staff prior to opening of new hotel 

  • Grand Del Mar Hotel - media trained executive team prior to opening

  • Produced legacy videos for Stanford University and helped develop messaging for more than 100 interviewees 

  • Dreamworks Animation - media trained director and producer of "Madagascar" film for international press tour

  • Families of September 11th - media trained founders for 10th anniversary event and international press conference at Ground Zero

  • Monterey Bay Aquarium - media trained 20 senior staffers to prepare for new exhibit and revamp of key messages

  • Pfizer - media trained senior ophthalmic researchers for introduction of new eye product

  • KIA Motors - trained developer of innovative SOUL car for launch

Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and graduated from Columbia Journalism School’s Sulzberger Executive Leadership Program.
